BTA SOLID DRILLING HEADS

These heads are designed to accommodate inserts form Sandvik and Tungaloy. Each head is gone through a thorough heat treatment process which is specially designed to give the material the necessary hardness and wear resistance. Skyward Drill heads have best in class chip evacuation ports to avoid chip clogging for tougher materials. Oil ports on our drill heads are strategically placed to reduce wear on guide pads and inserts. Sizes range from 20mm – 100mm as standard, special larger diameter drill heads can be manufactured if required.

• 20mm-28mm accommodate inserts from Tungaloy [ Trifine series (TOHT) ]
• 28mm-65mm accommodate inserts from Sandvik as well as Tungaloy [ FineBeam Series (FB) ]
• 65mm-100mm accommodate inserts from Sandvik as well as Tungaloy
  [ Unidex Series (TPMX) ], these drills heads are adjustable upto 2mm radially (4mm Diametrically)
